Fosfor, Bakır, Magnezyum, A ve C vitaminleri ile Potasyum, Kalsiyum, Demir ve Çinko yönünden çok zengindir. Bir tutam dereotu bir yetişkinin C vitamini ihtiyacının % 40’ını, A vitamini ihtiyacının ise % 43’ini karşılamaktadı
